WHO: Ebola Crisis 'Vastly Underestimated'

The Ebola outbreak that reports say has taken more than 1,000 lives in West Africa has been “vastly underestimated” according to the World Health Organization.

WHO said the numbers are not being recored correctly meaning the outbreak’s size is much larger than official counts are currently showing.

Spokesman Gregory Hartl said that recorded death tolls may “vastly underestimate the magnitude of the outbreak.”

The Official death toll from the Ebola outbreak now stands at 1,145, with Liberia being the current hotspot reporting 413 deaths.
