Limbaugh: Democrats Using Death of Michael Brown to Gin Up Midterm Turnout

Democrats are using the unrest in Ferguson, MO as a way to gin up the vote for the midterms, according to radio host Rush Limbaugh.

“The Democrats are using Ferguson, Missouri to try to ramp up black turnout for the midterms,” Limbaugh charged Tuesday on his radio show.

“They’re trying to paint a picture that this is what America has always been and that’s the myth I spoke of yesterday — the myth is that this happens all the time. The myth is that young, innocent blacks are gunned down by white police departments every day in this county and of course that is not true,” he continued.

According to Limbaugh, Democrats and the media are attempting to make the death of Michael Brown appear to be a common occurrence.

“They’ve always intended to play the race card one way, shape, manner or form for turn out in the November midterm elections. Here comes this event and it is made to order and I think it explains a lot of what we have been seeing,” he said.

Limbaugh pointed to recent photos of a voter registration tent in Ferguson as proof of his contention.

“The death of Michael Brown is being used to register Democrats in Ferguson, MO practically right next to the memorial for the kid,” he said.
