MO House Maj Ldr Slams Gov Nixon for 'Undermining Process,' 'Inflaming Situation'

Wednesday on KTRS, Missouri State House Majority Leader John Diehl (R-Town and Country) slammed Gov. Jay Nixon (D-MO) for undermining the grand jury process with a video statement he released calling for “a vigorous prosecution.”

Diehl questioned the governor for “what he did yesterday in that video” describing the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer by using terms like “gun downed in brood daylight” and “a vigorous prosecution.”

Diehl said he is “inflaming situation” and “undermining the process” “before one scrap of evidence is presented to the grand jury.”
