Bill Clinton Reveals Story of Bush's Presidential Phone Calls

Monday at the Newseum in Washington D.C. Former Presidents Bill Clinton told the story of George W. Bush calling him for advice for several years during Bush’s term in office.

Clinton said he never talked about it publicly. However, in his second term Bush would call and have long conversations. Bush would call to discuss presidential politics and world events and then ask for Clinton’s opinion.

Clinton said, “It meat a lot to me.” He added, “I felt good about it I thought that was a really healthy thing.”
