'The Hill' Editor Bob Cusack: Red State Dems Don't Want Obama Near Them

Bob Cusack, editor-in-chief of The Hill, argued that red-state Democrats “have to run very far from the president” on Monday’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel.

“They [red-state Democrats] have to run very far from the president … the White House knows that too. But the perplexing thing is that we’re reporting tonight that the administration, that the president, is going to start his campaign season in October. Where is he going to go? These red-state Democrats don’t want him anywhere near them,” he stated.

He also predicted that the attacks against Obama by Democrats in Republican states would intensify, saying “we’re 50 days away. So you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s going to get only worse from this point on.”
