MSNBC's Hunt: Some Iowa Dems Still Looking for Alternative to Hillary

On Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, network political correspondent Kasie Hunt reported from early 2016 battleground state Iowa on the heels of the Harkin Steak Fry in Indianola, IA, which featured both former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate.

“We talked to a lot of people in the crowd and there was to a certain extent that there was still maybe looking for an alternative or that Hillary really hadn’t made the case yet,” Hunt said. “There were a lot of people there looking for her, looking to see if she had improved from last time. It took her seven years to swallow her pride and come back to Iowa after her loss to Edwards and Obama in 2008.”
