Wednesday, President Barack Obama addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York City and said, “the United States is not and will never never at war with Islam.”
The president continued, “America will not base our entire forign policy on reacting to terrorism” because he said, “Islam teaches peace.” He added, “When it comes to America and Islam there is no us and them. There is only us because millions of Muslim Americans are part of the fabric of America.”
The president continued, “Belief in permeant religious war is a misguided refuge of extremist.”
