Perry on OK Beheading: 'Get Straight to the Point'

Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) criticized the president and Congress for failing to secure the border and argued that the Obama administration should label the beheading attack by Alton Nolen in Oklahoma should be labeled an act of jihad on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Perry urged the White House to “get straight to the point” on the Oklahoma beheading, and stated that the claim that Nolen’s attack was normal workplace violence is clearly untrue and “Americans know that’s not the case.”  He concluded that failing to identify the killing as an act of radical Islamic ideology that is “most likely an act of terror,” “is not in the best interest of America.”

He also urged Congress and the president to secure the border and criticized the president’s decision to halt the deportation of Liberian nationals.  He further praised the work of the medical personnel treating an Ebola patient in his state and expressed confidence in them, stating that he believed the situation was under control.
