Judge: Ferguson Police Violated Constitution

On Tuesday, CNN reported U.S. District Judge Catherine Perry ruled Ferguson, MO police violated the Constitution when they forced peaceful protesters to keep moving.

The federal judge using the First Amendment’s guarantee of, “The right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances” to issue an injunction Monday forbidding the police from continuing the practice because she said, “It is likely that these agencies will again apply this unconstitutional policy.”
