CBS Reporter Slams Jay Carney For Dodging Question During WH Presser White House Press Secretary Jay Carney refused to answer questions about a possible conflict with Ambassador Susan Rice and her husband's investment in Canadian oil companies, including the company that was responsible for the Keystone pipeline that was blocked by the President earlier this year. Carney said he wasn't going to speak to the President's upcoming appointments and claimed all of this interest in Susan Rice was solely based in her involvement with the aftermath of the Benghazi attack. CBS News White House correspondent Major Garrett challenged Carney on the question, interjecting, "You didn't answer the question. The question wasn't about Benghazi at all. The question was about the conflict, and if you don't think it's a conflict, explain to us why it isn't. What does that have to with Benghazi at all?"
