HOUSTON, TEXAS–On Friday, two men entered the Comerica Bank branch located at 800 Lockwood Drive in Houston allegedly robbed the bank at gunpoint. The FBI sent out a request for the public’s assistance in identifying the two robbers while Houston Crime Stoppers has offered a $5,000 reward for information on the case.
According to allegations made in an FBI press release obtained by Breitbart Texas, one of the two alleged black males entered the bank and inquired about opening an account. One suspect left and returned in a few minutes with another allegedly armed black male. One suspect reportedly stayed near the door while the other approached the teller and obtained an undisclosed amount of money, according to law enforcement. The two men reportedly left in a black SUV. According to the FBI, no one was physically injured in the robbery.
The FBI describes the two alleged bank robbers as being black males. Robber #1 is approximately 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall, 20-25 years old, medium build and has a lighter complexion with short hair. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt over a long-sleeved shirt, according to released bank security footage.
Robber #2 is roughly 5’5″ to 5’6″ tall, 20-25 years old, medium build with long dreadlocks. He was reportedly wearing blue jeans and a yellow long-sleeved shirt.
Individuals with information on this incident are encouraged to contact the FBI field office at 713-693-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). A reward of $5,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and charging of the suspects.
