Texan at Bar Protects Waitress, Self, By Shooting, Killing Two Armed Robbers

The owner of a Houston bar is praising an armed customer who shot and killed two of four armed men during an attempted robbery in the early morning hours of October 4.

The bar was EJ’s Place, and owner Jenny O’Donnell says she considers the armed customer is “a hero” who prevented the deaths of innocents.

According the Houston Chronicle, the four armed men came to the bar while “the head bartender and waitress were closing up.” Two of the suspects “lingered at the door” while the other two walked inside and yelled for everyone to get down on the floor.

At that point, an armed customer pulled his gun and engaged the suspects.

The armed suspects fled out the door, where one immediately fell dead. The second suspect made it across the parking lot before he fell dead as well. Police are still searching for the other two suspects.

The bar owner said “we could have had some bodies” in the bar if it hadn’t been for the armed customer’s actions.
