Police Car Burns, Gunfire and Bean Bags Reports as Ferguson Protest Continues to Escalate

A police car in Ferguson Missouri has been set on fire during the violent protests over the grand jury decision that cleared police officer Darren Wilson of any wrongdoing for the shooting of Michael Brown.

While the protests had started out peacefully, moments after the decision was announced, news reports claimed that gunshots have been fired, cars set on fire and bottles have been flying as tear gas fills the streets.

Amid the chaos, a woman appears to have suffered from a heart attack and another man has collapsed from the tear gas, news outlets reported.

Twitter users claim that police have begun to fire bean bags at protesters that appear to have fired handguns during the riots.
