Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, appeared on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" and received a challenge from a caller who suggested that unions are manipulating the justice system to make it impossible to fire ineffective teachers. Today at a MoveOn.org-organized union rally (that was countered by a Tea Party rally), a Tea Party activist was violently shoved twice by Teamster Richard Andazola, 28. The union thug also repeatedly screamed into his bullhorn that the Tea Partiers are "fascists." The Tea Party activist who was attacked in the video was hospitalized for injuries he sustained at the rally.

Last November, Breitbart.TV alerted you to the story of New Hampshire resident Ward Bird who was sentenced to an incredibly stiff three to six years in prison after the state Supreme Court upheld a conviction for brandishing a weapon. The Drudge Report picked up on the story and Bird became a cause celeb in Tea Party, libertarian, and gun-rights circles. The Breitbart.TV community was universally livid, and the video quickly became one of our highest trafficked posts of the month.
We’re pleased to report that Mr. Bird was released today after serving merely two months of his sentence. While ideally the Moultonborough resident would have been granted a rare full pardon, he will have the opportunity to apply to the court to have the conviction annulled.
