MOSCOW (AP) - Vladimir Putin just cannot stay away from manly pursuits. The Russian prime minister took a Formula One race car out for a spin on Sunday, reaching speeds of almost 150 mph (240 kph). Putin signed a deal last month with Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone to bring F1 racing to Russia starting in 2014, and his televised test drive could help raise the profile of the sport in Russia.

In this clip from "Reliable Sources," CNN's media watchdog lauds MSNBC for rebuking Keith Olbermann, digs Breitbart with misleading information, and ultimately slaps ABC for dropping Breitbart from their election night coverage, though he notes that he doesn’t think Breitbart was a good choice to begin with.

SHIELDS: "On the subject of Sarah Palin in 2012, one of the unspoken problems that she does have is her quitting as governor midway through her first term. It is like Ted Kennedy’s Chappaquiddick. It was not a problem among Democrats."
If by "unspoken," he means "oft-spoken." Aside from how absurd it is to compare leaving the governorship before the end of the term to driving drunk off a bridge and leaving a passenger for dead, this is a subtle reminder of exactly what the media will let Democrats get away with.
