Obama Approval on Immigration Skyrockets Among Hispanics

President Obama’s plan to revamp his popularity on the immigration issue by demagoguing it seems to be going smoothly. After watching Senate Republicans and Democrats come up with a plan on immigration that would include border security measures and a pathway to citizenship for those here illegally, President Obama swiftly deployed Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to state that border security was doing just fine, then focus almost completely on a pathway to citizenship. 21 Feb 2013

Poll: 56% of GOP Want Higher Taxes in Sequester Deal

According to a new Pew Research/USA Today poll out today, President Obama has widespread approval for his program of increased taxation to go along with spending cuts. The American people understand that legislation to combat the deficit is required, although there is a major party gap: 81 percent of Republicans believe that major deficit legislation is necessary, while just 65 percent of Democrats do. 21 Feb 2013

Obama: Love For The Rich Unites Republicans

On Thursday, President Barack Obama doubled down on his usual tactic of bullying his opposition rather than negotiating with them. Speaking to race baiter extraordinaire and MSNBC host Al “Resist We Much” Sharpton, Obama explained that Republicans don’t oppose tax increases because they think it will hurt the economy, destroy jobs, and prevent investment in business. Bombing in Hyderabad Kills 12

Reports from India state that 12 people have been killed and many injured when two bombs went off in Hyderabad, India. Police have already said that the bombings constitute a “terrorist attack.” The devices were coordinated to blow up within ten minutes of each other, at about 7 PM, and were attached to bicycles. Biden on Self-Defense: Fire a Shotgun in the Air

On Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden appeared on a Facebook townhall, where he was asked a question about gun ownership by a female viewer from Parent Magazine. Biden’s suggestion: nobody needs an AR-15, especially women. Instead, he stated, “If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun.” He also suggested firing a double barreled shotgun twice into the air from a balcony to scare off possible intruders. Media Pushes Government Grant-Taking Tea Party Opponent to McConnell

This week, the liberal media has begun pushing Matt Bevin, a supposed Tea Party opponent to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in the Senatorial primary. On Monday, The Hill reported that McConnell “could see a primary challenge from local businessman Matt Bevin, who sources say is reaching out to Tea Party groups in the state to gauge support for a 2014 Senate run.” According to Louisville Tea Party president Sarah Duran, “We met with him to just discuss our feelings about the Senator.” 19 Feb 2013

Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), who is widely expected to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016, may have just harmed his chances by signifying his support for the policies of ultra-liberal New York governor – and possible 2016 Democratic opponent – Andrew Cuomo. Talking with union leader Larry Bulman, political director for United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Steamfitters, Christie reportedly said, “I’m not much different from Andrew Cuomo.
