Belgium Sends U.S. Home, Spoils Tim Howard's Record-Breaking Performance

The U.S. men's soccer team survived the "Group of Death," but after traveling nearly 10,000 miles across Brazil, their run in the 2014 World Cup is over. And it ended in extra time. Again. But the United States and coach Jurgen Klinsmann also advanced, defying many of the pre-tournamnet doubters. The bad news: the United States is now in a bracket that will most likely include Belgium and, if the United States advances from that game, potentially Lionel Messi's Argentina in the quarterfinals.
