Analysis: Manuel May Be Best QB in Draft Class

E.J. Manuel, who was drafted 16th overall by the Buffalo Bills last Thursday, was the #1 quarterback on the Breitbart Sports Big Board, and I am confident in his ability to thrive at the in the NFL. While the Bills likely could have gotten him lower, I stand by my conviction that he was the best in the class and that he was a great pick for this franchise. 1 May 2013

Opinion: Collins Is No Jackie Robinson

When Americans think of Jackie Robinson, we think of a man who broke a real barrier, a man who endured slurs, taunting, physical abuse, and death threats because of the color of his skin. In Jackie Robinson, we have a man who played a role in changing the national consciousness about race. Much like today, sports held much sway over the national culture, and breaking baseball's color barrier was a significant step forward in the civil rights movement. 1 May 2013

ESPN Could Not Sell Manti: Draft Notes from the First Round

After a wild first round, our early arguments that Manti Te'o should not and would not be included in the first round have been vindicated. Todd McShay said that Te'o would not slide, but I disagreed. At every point in this draft process, I have argued that Te'o did not have a high draft stock and that he should be omitted from the first round. 26 Apr 2013

NFL Draft Preview: NFC West

The NFC West features two of the NFL's top teams with a strong future. Seattle and San Francisco have all the pieces to be strong franchises for a long time. The St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals are trying to catch up, but will need stellar drafts to even come close. 25 Apr 2013

Final Breitbart Sports Big Board: Plenty of Impact Players in Top 100

In a draft lacking in elite talent, there is plenty of talent throughout the top 100 and Round 2 and 3 picks will be more valuable than usual. Throughout the Breitbart Sports Big Board, players can be found that could make an impact next year. Though we do not know how NFL GMs are ordering their boards, this is our best assessment of how these players will grade out, and this list is not meant to represent the order in which these players will be taken. 25 Apr 2013

NFL Draft Preview: AFC East

The AFC East is still a division dominated by the Patriots and the Bills, and the Jets show little evidence of being able to alter that dynamic even with a stellar draft performance. The Dolphins, however, could make a big leap this year and the Patriots will have few picks to be able to keep up with the other teams. Once again, NFL draft analysts provided Breitbart Sports with additional insights. 25 Apr 2013

NFL Draft Preview: NFC North

The NFC North contains some of the NFL's more iconic teams as well as some of the stiffest competition. With the Bears, Packers, and Vikings each winning 10 or more games last season and the Lions impossible to take lightly with Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson in the fold, this draft could go a long way in determining the ultimate pecking order in the division for the upcoming season. 25 Apr 2013

Final Breitbart Sports Mock Draft: Chiefs Go with Fisher

The 2013 NFL Draft continues to be very difficult to call with no shortage of depth and a major void in elite, can't miss prospects. As the draft approaches, trades are looking increasingly likely and smokescreens and misdirection will define the next several hours. When the draft launches, offensive tackles will be the hot items, beginning with Eric Fisher at the top of the draft. Plenty of trades could shake up the top of the draft, but these are our projections. 25 Apr 2013

NFL Draft Preview: AFC South

All eyes will be on the Jaguars in the AFC South, but the Colts and Texans could be the ones selecting the picks that could elevate their teams to contenders. Tennessee, with the last pick in the top 10, could go with one of two of the all-time great guard prospects. 25 Apr 2013
