At the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX, ad agency BBH has employed 13 homeless individuals to hold and operate 4G wifi hotspots throughout the city to increase mobile Internet speeds for festival goers. The program, called "Homeless Hotspots," thought not officially connected to SXSW, is becoming a point of controversy in its coverage.
