America Attacked Abroad

Since Tuesday's 9/11 anniversary, American diplomatic offices in the Middle East have been under siege from Islamists angered by a YouTube clip allegedly criticizing Mohammed. In Benghazi, protesters raped and murdered America's ambassador to Libya, then killed three of his employees, then burned down the consulate entirely. Would our victory via Christopher Nolan be so short-lived? Would this sequel be more aptly named in the style of its predecessor, "Step Up 2: The Streets," as "Step Up 4: The 99%"? 28 Jul 2012

OutKast's Big Boi Makes Case Against Gun Control

While most of the entertainment world reacted to Thursday's massive shooting spree at a Colorado theater with urgent calls for gun control, one music star had quite the opposite message. Big Boi (real name Antwan André Patton), one half of the rap outfit OutKast, took to Twitter and defended individuals' right to bear arms. 21 Jul 2012
