James Cameron: 'We All Feel a Sense Of Disappointment In Obama'

I’m a preparedness freak, but we’re moving to New Zealand for business and values reasons. With the “Avatar” films, all of my business is in New Zealand over the next few years. And I worked on my grandfather’s farm every summer throughout my childhood. I want my kids to grow up close to a value system that is about knowing where your food, energy and water comes from. You can’t do that in Malibu. 3 Apr 2012

NBC Contributor Jokes On Air: Palin Hit On Me

You might want to write this sorry episode off as just another left-wing jerk being a left-wing jerk, but the politics behind it are actually more complicated and calculating. Objectifying and turning Governor Palin into a sexualized punchline is a way to marginalize her as a political force. And if you want to add a little more media malfeasance to the mix, how about all this ridiculous "white Hispanic" nonsense. 2 Apr 2012

'Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close' Bluray Review: Hollywood Exploits 9/11

According to director Daldry and company, what 9/11 is about, though, is the opportunity for a nine-year-old "amateur inventor, Francophile, and pacifist" to trot off on a narcissistic journey of self-discovery while banging his precious tambourine and providing his precious voice over and meeting all the precious people in the precious city of New York. And in the film's most racially patronizing scene, meeting a group of precious Christians who are of course, Black. 2 Apr 2012

Without Evidence, Tyler Perry Accuses Police of Racial Profiling

So a vehicle with tinted windows makes an illegal turn and the driver tells the police officer who pulled him over (one of the most vulnerable positions a cop can find himself in) that he's worried about being followed. Think about that: If you don't recognize Tyler Perry (which probably makes you racist), would that not sound a little paranoid to you and elevate the tension of the situation just a bit? 2 Apr 2012
