Alec Baldwin: 'If I Cry, Will I Be Forgiven'?

Though he has since deleted it, Alec Baldwin fired off a tweet Saturday that asked, "If I cry, will I be forgiven all of my transgressions?" Baldwin is obviously referring to Melissa Harris-Perry's emotional, on-air apology to the Romney family, which happened the same day as Baldwin's tweet. Baldwin was recently fired by MSNBC for hurling anti-gay slurs on a city street. Harris-Perry apologized for her Sunday show, which featured a panel of guests singling out and mocking Mitt Romney's infant grandson over the fact the he is adopted and black. Jan 6, 2014 6:54 AM PT

MSNBC's Harris-Perry: Intent Was To Be 'Positive & Celebratory' About Romney Grandson

MSNBC anchor Melissa Harris-Perry used the opening of her Saturday morning program to issue a personal apology for the mockery of Mitt Romney's adopted black grandson, Kieran. The appalling segment occurred last Sunday and Harris-Perry had already apologized via Twitter Tuesday. Today she claimed that she "intended to say positive and celebratory things" about the Romney family's inter-racial adoption. Jan 4, 2014 8:26 AM PT

Ice and Cold: Global Warming Believers are Today's Climate Deniers

Just this week we had dozens of Global Warming-believing scientists run into a helluva lot more Antarctic ice than their research told them would be there. So much more ice that their ship and three ice-breaking rescue vessels were stuck in ten feet of it for days. As I write this, the big news of the weekend is a cold snap across much of the country with temperatures reaching 20 and 30-year lows. And yet, despite all of the good news, the Climate Change community is not celebrating. Jan 4, 2014 7:34 AM PT

Media Fail: Majority of Democrats Okay with 'Redskins' Name

In more bad news for the media, the poll was done by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling firm and found that a majority of Democrats, 59%, are fine with the name Redskins. A full 90% of Republicans and 65% of Democrats agree. Jan 3, 2014 1:26 PM PT

MSNBC: How Do We Combat 'Duck Dynasty' Clan From Doing What's Legal?

Because MSNBC long ago stopped being a news channel in favor of becoming visual left-wing talk radio, the "Lean Forward" network continues to make a fool of itself in ways both big (mocking a black infant) and small. On a slow news Friday, MSNBC rising star Thomas Roberts and a guest spit-balled on the air over how to "combat" the Duck Dynasty clan from doing something legal -- like releasing their own line of firearms. New Years Eve: CNN's Kathy Griffin Hits 5-Year Low, Loses 40% of Audience

Apparently the threat promise of seeing Kathy Griffin topless backfired on CNN. The Fox News Channel's New Years Eve special not only beat CNN in total viewers, but Anderson Cooper and Griffin's viewership plummeted nearly 40% -- from 2.3 million viewers last year to only 1.426 million Tuesday night. CNN did, however, beat Fox news in the advertiser-coveted 25-54 demo. Jan 3, 2014 10:21 AM PT

Media Fail: Study Shows ObamaCare Will Increase Emergency Room Visits

We now know that the left was practicing anti-science with those oft-repeated claims that insuring the uninsured will cut down on expensive emergency room visits. A Harvard study discovered that when the once-uninsured were given Medicaid, emergency room visits increased by a whopping 40%. And once again, we not only have another instance of Democrats lying to pass ObamaCare, but the media letting them get away with it. Jan 3, 2014 8:24 AM PT

Data Goldmine: Walgreens, WalMart Offer Free Prescriptions to ObamaCare Customers

In what you can interpret as either an act of corporate altruism, corporate lobbying, or a mix of both, two giant retailers -- Walmart and Walgreens -- have agreed to save the Obama Administration from who knows how many horror-story anecdotes by agreeing to fill 30 days of free prescriptions for ObamaCare enrollees. The question is, though, what happens to the data and patient information these retailers collect? Jan 2, 2014 9:34 PM PT

2013 Ratings: CNN Hits 20-Year Low, Fox News Dominates

The collapse of CNN continued through 2013 with the former-Most Trusted Name In News hitting a 20-year ratings low during the 8-11pm primetime hours. The news wasn't much better for MSNBC. The left-wing network actually lost in total day viewership to CNN. Fox News continued to dominate throughout the year, beating both CNN and MSNBC combined. Jan 2, 2014 11:56 AM PT

Duck Hunt: CNN Fabricates New Phil Robertson Controversy

The CNN report below, covering Robertson's humorous relaying of marriage advice, is taken ultra-seriously by the CNN correspondent, and asks, "What is the tipping point to getting kicked off the air?" Jan 2, 2014 10:25 AM PT

Video: CNN Covers Up Global Warming Angle In Rescue Report

Below is a four-minute report CNN has broadcast all morning about the rescue of a few dozen Global Warming researchers trapped in the Antarctic ice for 10 days. What is glaringly missing from CNN's reporting, though, are the words "global" and "warming." In fact, not once does CNN inform its viewers that these researchers were there to confirm that ice in the Antarctic is melting. Jan 2, 2014 8:16 AM PT

Global Warming Researchers Rescued From Antarctic Ice

Because the media's more interested in protecting left-wing narratives than reporting facts, you might not know that a Russian ship stuck since Christmas Eve in the Antarctic ice and carrying dozens of Global Warming researchers, discovered something more inconvenient than cold weather. What these Global Warming believers found is a lot more ice along their route than their research told them would be there. Jan 2, 2014 7:30 AM PT

SCOTUS Temporarily Halts ObamaCare Contraception Mandate

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, a Obama appointee, issued a temporary injunction against the ObamaCare contraception mandate. The law forces employers, including those with religious affiliations, to provide health insurance, including coverage for contraception and abortion-inducing drugs. The injunction went into effect just hours before the mandate did. Jan 1, 2014 7:42 AM PT

MSNBC's Harris-Perry 'Born Into Large White Mormon Family'

Monday, via Twitter, Melissa Harris-Perry apologized to the Romney family for a segment on her Sunday MSNBC show that mocked Kieran Romney, Mitt Romney's adopted black grandson. The baby was mocked by Harris-Perry's panelists as a token who "doesn't belong there," while the MSNBC anchor chuckled along. As part of her apology, Harris-Perry said that she was a "black child born into [a] large white Mormon family." Jan 1, 2014 6:51 AM PT

Star of HBO's Low-Rated 'Girls' Complains Over Obligation to Tweet

According to Lena Dunham, the star and creator of HBO's low-rated "Girls," she is tweeting against her own will and this is making life really hard for her. Dunham complained to Salon about having to write "under great duress" and how Twitter doesn't give her a chance to hibernate between projects. Dec 31, 2013 10:57 AM PT
