Christie Fires Staff, Takes 90 Minutes of Questions

While there still needs to be a full and complete investigation into exactly how involved the governor's office was in the closing of the George Washington Bridge, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie came out on Thursday to give a master class in how to handle a national political scandal and media frenzy. It was the anti-Obama approach: Christie announced the firing of two of his closest aides and answered questions until the media started to complain about how long he took questions. CNN's Banfield: Christie Scandal Could Mean 'Felony Murder' Charges

A few minutes before New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's highly-anticipated Thursday morning press conference, CNN's Ashleigh Banfield suggested that the closing of the George Washington Bridge for political purposes could result in felony murder charges against those behind the closing. Democrat Senator Udall Asked State to Cook Books on Obamacare Numbers reports that emails show U.S. Senator Mark Udall's (D-CO) office pressured the Colorado Division of Insurance to downplay the number of insurance cancellations caused by the rollout of ObamaCare. A full 249,199 Colorado citizens were victimized by ObamaCare's cancellations. According to the emails, Udall's office hoped to change the definition of a "cancellation" as a way to lower the number. All of this occurred late last year as the storm around cancellations was engulfing Democrats and the president. Jan 9, 2014 5:48 AM PT

Christie Traffic Scandal: Emergency Vehicles Slowed By Lane Closures

Emails seem to directly contradict Christie's repeated assertions that this was a traffic study gone bad that neither he nor anyone on his staff had anything to do with it. The most damning part of this brewing scandal, however, is almost certain to be the potentially life-threatening effect the unnecessary lane closures had on first responders. Jan 8, 2014 10:55 AM PT

Roger Ailes: 'Fox Has Won the Cable News Wars'

Roger Ailes, the CEO and Chairman of Fox News, has declared victory over his left-wing competitors, CNN and MSNBC. In a lengthy interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ailes points out correctly that MSNBC and CNN have given up on and are moving away from the news business: "That means Fox has won the cable news wars." Ripping Fox News: 5 Global Warming Facts Jon Stewart Covered Up

Left-wing comedian Jon Stewart ripped into Fox news Monday for daring to question The Man; The Man in this case being the media, Democrats, our government, and a bunch of climate scientists whose climate models are evaporating before our very eyes. The only thing more disheartening than a comedian mocking those who do question authority is one who aids The Man in the cover-up. Jan 7, 2014 12:25 PM PT

Time Mag Contradicts Self Blaming Global Warming for Cold Snap

Bryan Walsh, a senior editor at Time Magazine, engaged in a series of half-truths and anti-science speculation Monday to blame the cold temperatures hitting much of the country this week on man-made Global Warming. Apparently, temperatures reverting back to pre-Climate Change hysteria norms is proof of Climate Change, or something. Jan 7, 2014 10:21 AM PT

History of Hate: Five Years of Falsehoods at NBC News

Everyone acted surprised when we learned yesterday that after a couple of disastrous months, MSNBC is defiantly refusing to change their editorial process. But why would they? For years now MSNBC and NBC News have both become a culture of left-wing hate and fraudulent editing. The only thing new, as you will see below, is that the frequency of the fraud and hate is increasing. Jan 7, 2014 8:52 AM PT

MSNBC Supports Mandatory Drug Testing for Welfare Recipients

According to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow's journalistic *ahem* standards, her own left-wing network, MSNBC, supports mandatory drug testing for Florida welfare recipients. Of course this is no truer than making the claim that the Koch brothers support this legislation. But that didn’t stop Maddow and MSNBC from intentionally smearing the Kochs with the false claim. Defiant MSNBC: 'No Changes to Our Editorial Process'

Apparently the message a defiant MSNBC wants to put across in the wake of a disastrous couple of months is that nothing is going to change. Responding to a National Review story that reported MSNBC had made some editorial changes following the calamity that resulted in the resignation of anchor Martin Bashir, the Lean Forward network's spokeswoman Lauren Skowronski told The Washington Post's Erik Wemple, “There have been no changes to our editorial process.” Jan 6, 2014 1:43 PM PT

MSNBC's Harris-Perry Follows Media Tradition of Targeting Civilians

There was nothing unique about what MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry and her panel did last Sunday when they held Mitt Romney's infant grandson up for ridicule and mockery. Over the past five years or so, targeting innocent civilians as a way to further the left-wing agenda is something the media have engaged in numerous times. Jan 6, 2014 10:37 AM PT

NY Times Covers Up Global Warming Angle of Antarctic Rescue Story

America's "Paper of Record" apparently does not want to be on the record about exactly what it was those researchers stuck in the Antarctic ice over Christmas were researching. As we all now know, thanks mainly to alternative conservative media, the stranded Australian researchers are Global Warming believers who were there to document ice melt. In a Monday story about the logistics of the rescue, the Times completely ignores the Global Warming angle. Jan 6, 2014 9:07 AM PT

Alec Baldwin: 'If I Cry, Will I Be Forgiven'?

Though he has since deleted it, Alec Baldwin fired off a tweet Saturday that asked, "If I cry, will I be forgiven all of my transgressions?" Baldwin is obviously referring to Melissa Harris-Perry's emotional, on-air apology to the Romney family, which happened the same day as Baldwin's tweet. Baldwin was recently fired by MSNBC for hurling anti-gay slurs on a city street. Harris-Perry apologized for her Sunday show, which featured a panel of guests singling out and mocking Mitt Romney's infant grandson over the fact the he is adopted and black.
