McClatchy, USA Today Refuse to Publish White House Photos

It only took five years for the American media to get tired of President Obama's spoon-fed propaganda. Earlier this month, 38 news organizations, including the Associated Press, ABC News, The Washington Post, and Reuters demanded more photojournalist access to the president. The White House responded with what one reporter described as a middle finger. Now some news organizations are responding by formalizing policies not to publish White House-distributed photographs. November Ratings: Fox News Crushes Left-Wing CNN, MSNBC

In the month of November, it wasn't even close. Fox News not only humiliated its left-wing competition at MSNBC and CNN, the Fair and Balanced network also dominated cable as a whole. Other than ESPN, not a single one of the nearly 100 cable channels drew more viewers than Fox, and Fox also beat MSNBC and CNN combined in total and demo viewers. Nov 29, 2013 7:37 AM PT

November Ratings: MSNBC Loses 45% of Viewers

Over tofu turkey, the powers behind the extreme-left cable news network MSNBC must have expressed many thanks yesterday for CNN, because it is only by comparison to CNN that MSNBC's November ratings are not embarrassing. Compared to November of last year, MSNBC's viewership has nearly been cut in half and the "Lean Forward" network continues to get crushed by Fox News. Nov 29, 2013 7:08 AM PT

November Ratings: Last Place CNN Loses 59% of Demo Viewers Over Last Year

The left-leaning CNN had a terrible November. Compared to November of 2012, the cable news network lost 59% of its total day audience and 62% of its primetime audience in the all-important 25-54 demo. Granted, last November was the month of the presidential election and a drop-off in viewership is to be expected, but by comparison Fox News is down only 21% and 18% respectively. 'Fast & Furious 6' Bluray Review: The Greatest Movie Ever Made

That's right, "Fast & Furious 6" is the greatest movie ever made, and I'm only using a little hyperbole. But how else to describe a film that from first frame to last is the only movie you want to watch. Let me put it this way: I dare anyone to shut off "Fast & Furious 6" to watch "Casablanca," "Gone with the Wind," or "The Graduate." Now that I've made my point… Nov 29, 2013 6:03 AM PT

A Quinnipiac survey shows some buyer's remorse in what was one of three or four crucial swing states in the 2012 presidential election. 'Ray Donovan' Review: Schreiber, Woods, Gould & Voight Shine on Showtime

For all of its many ills and sins, one of the great pleasures Hollywood has delivered over the last few years is binge-viewing; which is the direct result of Hollywood finally figuring out how to use the artistic medium of television to its full potential: Great actors, compelling characters, long-form stories and storytelling all wrapped in an addictive package over a full season. Baldwin Lashes Out at the 'Fundamentalist Wing of Gay Advocacy'

Actor Alec Baldwin confirmed with the Gothamist that he will not be returning to MSNBC. In typical Baldwin fashion, the actor raged against those who he sees as his oppressors: the celebrity site TMZ and those he describes -- Andrew Sullivan and GLAAD's Rich Ferraro -- as being part of the "fundamentalist wing of gay advocacy." Streaming Revolution: Stats Show Bundled Cable Is Dying

Business Insider reports that the television industry is "having its worst year ever." Ratings have plummeted, and so have subscribers to bundled cable television -- which is the Golden Cash Cow of Hollywood. Since 2010, cable providers have lost 5 million subscribers. During the last quarter alone 113,000 cable customers said goodbye. Nov 26, 2013 2:25 PM PT
