MSNBC: White House Is Lying About ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers

The media believe the White House is openly lying to them about not having the numbers on those who have enrolled for ObamaCare. Monday on Morning Joe, the AP's Julie Pace said that on a daily basis she is being told by the Obama administration that "we don’t have the number yet." A few sentences later, Pace reveals that she knows the administration is lying to her, "We know that they have these numbers." Oct 21, 2013 5:26 AM PT

After Weeks of Hate Speech from Media & Obama, Cruz Receives Death Threat

The only surprise is that this is the only death threat against Cruz, or at least the only one we know of. Why would someone not feel a seething hostility towards an individual the national media and our president are wishing dead, comparing to terrorists, and relentlessly demonizing as the leader of a radical, dangerous, arsonist, anarchist, racist, hostage-taking cause that will destroy America? Another Billion In Pork Exposed In Bill that Re-Opened Government

On top of handing President Obama a blank check that will explode the size of our deficit, the blank check itself (the bill that re-opened the government and increased the debt ceiling), contains billions in additional spending. Most people have already heard about the $2.9 billion Kentucky kickback and a $174,000 payment to the wealthy widow of Senator Frank Lautenberg. Fox News found another billion-plus. Daily Beast Profiles State Where ObamaCare Is Working But Not Selling

The Daily Beast profiled Connecticut, a state that built its own health care exchange and has therefore avoided the nightmare of the federal site. Writer Daniel Gross points out that having a working exchange and being a "highly Democratic, wealthy, small state [with] a relatively low rate of uninsured people, about 9 percent," makes Connecticut a "pretty good laboratory" for what ObamaCare might look like once the national exchanges are working. But the news is still not good. Oct 19, 2013 6:07 AM PT

NY Mag Editor to Trump: 'Your Wife Is Waiting For You to Die'

Friday afternoon, billionaire Donald Trump fired off a tweet attacking the Writers of New York Magazine as "dishonest." Trump added that he enjoys watching the magazine fail. Within just a few minutes, Dan Amira, whose verified twitter account identifies him as a senior editor at New York Magazine, lashed out at Trump by tweeting, "Your wife is waiting for you to die." Death Spirals, Invincibles, and the Media's ObamaCare Enrollee Counts

Wednesday, the Washington Post announced the 185,000 people have "applied for ObamaCare." When you consider the fact that this count is from only 16 states and that the month is only half over, that number is quite good. The administration's goal of 500,000 enrollees in the first month looks easily attainable. Until you dig a little deeper. Oct 18, 2013 11:26 AM PT

Media's 'Gang of 500' Ignore ObamaCare's Victims

The media are usually pretty big on victims, but only certain types of victims; victims that further the cause of big government and the Democrat agenda. For example, during the government shutdown, immediately, everyone from furloughed federal workers to inconvenienced tourists to children in need of cancer treatments could be seen across every cable channel and newspaper. And those are legitimate stories. No one is arguing that. But where are the ObamaCare victims, who I promise you are much easier to find than ObamaCare enrollees? Oct 18, 2013 9:03 AM PT

*Live Updates* 'Objective' Media Celebrate Obama Shutdown Victory

There is no question that from a purely partisan point of view, Obama won. But it is what he won that an objective media would not celebrate. And the media are not only celebrating, they are celebrating in a partisan way as though Obama was 100% right and his cause 100% righteous. Oct 17, 2013 8:07 AM PT

ObamaCare Site Creator: 'People Fainting In Conference Calls'

CGI Federal is the Canadian IT contractor responsible for creating most of the ObamaCare website. Tuesday, after describing the site as a "complete train wreck," the Washington Post took an in-depth look at the company -- its origins, track record, and how it landed the ObamaCare contract. It is all worth a read, but one staffer told the Post that the working environment at CGI is so awful today that "People are getting sick, fainting in conference calls." Oct 16, 2013 2:34 PM PT

Media Complain About Hillary's Secrecy But Won't Do Anything About It

I suspect that just like the ceaseless whining we hear from the media about the way Barack Obama treats them, in the end, the media will do nothing to force Clinton to change her ways. Because to actually do something effective risks damaging her politically, which in turn benefits Republicans; and among the media that is a much bigger sin than the "trampling the dissemination of information." CBS News: ObamaCare Launch 'A Complete Disaster'

On Wednesday's CBS This Morning, co-anchor Norah O'Donnell described the ObamaCare launch as a "rough start." CBS reporter Jan Crawford responded with, "'Rough start' could be the understatement of the year. It has been a complete disaster. We don’t know how many people have enrolled. We can’t even find anyone who's enrolled. The Miami Herald is now calling them 'urban legends.'" Oct 16, 2013 11:38 AM PT

ObamaCare: Obama Loses Hometown Newspaper

In a brutal editorial, President Obama's hometown newspaper, the Chicago Tribune, blasts Obama Care, and not just the crippling technical issues that have marred the launch. Getting to the heart of the debacle, the Tribune points to what much of the media won't: the fact that millions are going to lose the insurance and doctor Obama promised they could keep; and that Obama's signature legislation should probably cover therapy for sticker shock. Shutdown Ratings: CNN Sinks to Third; Fox Dominates

Since Jeff Zucker took the reins, this is the first time CNN has lost in the ratings to MSNBC during a big news event. While the two-left-wing networks have fight back and forth when the news isn't so dramatic, during the Boston Marathon bombing and the George Zimmerman trial, CNN jumped ahead of the Lean Forward network. Ezra Klein Knew ObamaCare Site Had Problems Weeks Before Launch

ObamaCare's number-one cheerleader, the Washington Post's Ezra Klein, admitted yesterday that, weeks before the disastrous launch of the ObamaCare website, he was hearing "some very ugly things about how the system was performing[.]" Klein says he didn't do any reporting on what would have been a very big scoop because he couldn’t "nail the story" down and "there was a wall of official denials from the Obama administration[.]" Oct 16, 2013 5:03 AM PT

Kos Diarist Gets ObamaCare Bill: 'What the Hell Kind of Reform Is This?'

Over at the hard-left Daily Kos, diarist Tirge Caps, who has a years-long history as a reliable left-wing Daily Kos diarist, lashed out at ObamaCare. After receiving a notice that said his monthly health insurance premiums will nearly double, Caps writes, "I am canceling insurance for us and I am not paying any fucking penalty. What the hell kind of reform is this?" Oct 15, 2013 2:18 PM PT
