Josh Marshall Connects Malaysian Air Shoot Down to Tea Party

Josh Marshall, publisher of Talking Points Memo, suggested this morning that the separatist "warlord" who may be responsible for shooting down a Malaysian airliner and killing nearly 300 people is, somehow, just like the Tea Party. After a quote noting that the "warlord" in question used to take part in Russian military reenactment battles, Marshall writes: Jul 18, 2014 11:05 AM PT

Rogers made the case that allowing kids to stay would only encourage more to follow in their footsteps. And, critically, some of the kids would be harmed in the process or not make it here at all. David Gregory only seemed to hear that Rogers wanted to turn kids away at the border and objected that it was unfair to suggest the President was at fault. Jul 14, 2014 9:56 AM PT
