Judge Dons Fairy Godmother Costume During Adoption Ceremony

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Eight Clark County kids were adopted Halloween morning. The judge who presided over the ceremony and finalized the adoptions, dressed up as a fairy godmother.  Judge Cynthia Guiliani says she's granting their wish to find a permanent home and a family with which to spend all of their other holidays. Teen Assaults Man With Homemade Torch After Argument About Cologne

WICHITA, Ks. - Police say a 56-year-old man suffered minor injuries after an argument with a 37-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son over a bottle of cologne escalated into an assault.   The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of South Yale.  The teen reportedly grabbed a lighter and can of hairspray and proceeded to shoot flames at the older man with the makeshift torch. South African Teacher Fired After Taking Students to Get Penises Pierced

JOHANNESBURG - A high teacher at Willowridge High School, east of Pretoria, has reportedly been fired after he took three students to have their penises pierced. Suicide Bomber Blows Himself Up on Empty Mediterranean Beach

Officials say a suicide bomber detonated on an empty beach in front of a hotel in the Tunisian Mediterranean resort town of Sousse. He was the only fatality. Man Jailed For Overdue Library Book

TEXAS - Jory Enck is apparently a slow reader. About 3 years ago, he checked out a G.E.D study guide from a library in Copperas Cove. Last week police arrested him on a warrant for not returning library materials. The city ordinance was passed to crack down on delinquent readers. According to the city's municipal judge, Bill Price, "the reason they passed it was that they were spending a tremendous amount of money replacing these materials that people just didn't return." MADISON (WKOW) - Police say a 31-year-old man was arrested for his fifth DWI offense after he parked his car in the middle of an intersection.
