Lisa De Pasquale is a writer in Alexandria, VA. Miss De Pasquale was previously the director of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where she oversaw all aspects of the conference from June 2006 to April 2011. In 2010, she was named a “Rising Star” by Campaigns & Elections magazine in their annual list of top political leaders under 35. She writes a weekly column for Townhall.com called the "De Pasquale's Dozen," which was inspired by Andrew Breitbart and asks political leaders and liberty-minded entertainers to talk about their pop culture obsessions. She has also written for Breitbart.com, Human Events, The Daily Caller, Washingtonian, The Washington Times, The Houston Chronicle, and the Tallahassee Democrat.

I fell in love with the K-9 Parish Comfort Dogs after seeing photos of their visits to Newtown, Conn. following the school shooting. Yesterday one of the dogs (yes, they post as themselves) posted on Facebook that they were going to Boston. From the Today Show:

Several days ago I posted about the case against former staffers for Thaddeus McCotter. An ABC affiliate in Michigan uncovered evidence that the former staffers, Don Yowchuang and Dillon Breen, forged signatures on McCotter's re-election petition for money. When it was revealed that more than half of the signatures were fake, McCotter, a popular incumbant, was not able to run for re-election. McCotter has now filed a civil suit against Yowchuang and Breen. In a release from McCotter's lawyer:
