Dozens Killed In Deadly Egypt Soccer Riot

"It was the worst incident of soccer violence in Egypt and the deadliest worldwide since 1996. One player said it was 'like a war.' Stadium employees at the Cairo stadium said some of the bleachers were set ablaze, but firefighters put it out before it caused much damage.... The melee broke out after fans of Al-Masry, the home team in Port Said, stormed the field after a rare 3-1 win against Al-Ahly, Egypt’s top team. Al-Masry supporters hurled sticks and stones as they chased players and fans from the rival team, who ran toward the exits to escape, according to witnesses." 1 Feb 2012

Breitbart Editor: 'No Question' Congressional Insider Trading Happens

Breitbart Editor and author of "Throw Them All Out" Peter Schweizer appeared on CNN earlier today to discuss the latest votes on the STOCK Act in the Senate. Schweizer responded to skepticism by Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn, who was one of only two senators that voted "no" to allow a hearing of the bill in the Senate, saying that there was absolutely "no question" that Congressmen use their insider knowledge gained in DC to increase their personal wealth. 1 Feb 2012

Hate Radio Host Berates And Belittles Black Republican

Memphis talk radio host Thaddeus Matthews insulted and humiliated Republican congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann during a recent interview. He ended the interview by saying, "get your stupid, ignorant ass up out of my studio." As Bergmann was leaving the studio she extended her hand to the host and Matthews refused to shake hands because he didn't want the "whiteness" to "rub off" on him.

Note: The video of the incident was clearly made by someone who doesn't favor Republicans or members of the Tea Party.

Romney Takes Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Mitt Romney has won the Florida Republican presidential primary.

The former Massachusetts governor has taken a commanding lead over Newt Gingrich in the winner-take-all balloting, which is worth 50 delegates at the party's national nominating convention.

With nearly half the precincts counted, Romney is ahead 47 percent to Gingrich's 31 percent.

The former House speaker earlier vowed to stay in the race regardless of the outcome in Florida.

About half of Florida primary voters say the most important factor for them is backing a candidate who can defeat President Barack Obama in November. That's according to early exit poll results conducted for The Associated Press and television networks.
