In fact, the term "get-out-the-vote" (GOTV) features only four times in the 100-page Growth and Opportunity Project report and is mentioned only in passing.

Californian Michelle Moons, a contributor to Politichicks TV, was in the audience at CPAC on Thursday when Pat Caddell unloaded on "racketeering" GOP consultants. On Saturday, Moon's video recording of Cadell's speech was published on YouTube. It appears to be the only existing video recording of Caddell's speech.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal reminded the audience at CPAC on Friday that he's not Paul Ryan. Though he didn't mention the Wisconsin congressman by name, Jindal told the crowd that Republicans need to end their "obsession" with the number of zeroes in the budget of the federal government and focus on economic growth in the private sector.

On Wednesday, President Obama will be the featured speaker at a fundraiser for Organizing for Action, the purported "non-partisan" successor to his 2012 Obama for America presidential campaign committee. Donors at the fundraiser, many of whom contributed to President Obama's previous political campaigns, are paying $50,000 per person for the privilege of having yet another opportunity to hear the President.

Patrick Ruffini, the thirty-four year old head of Engage DC, a well respected new media firm, spearheaded efforts to launch the organization. Ruffini has a long track record of digital successes.

The papal conclave that will select the next pope will begin on Tuesday. The procession of cardinals into the Vatican's Sistine Chapel will start at 4:30 pm. By 5:30 pm, the doors of the chapel will be closed, and all communication with the outside world will cease, save for the traditional twice daily streams of smoke that fly up the chapel's chimney indicating the progress the cardinals are making.
