Peter Wood, blogging at the Chronicle of Higher Education, examined Breitbart.com's story about Derrick Bell, Barack Obama, and Critical Race Theory--and how the mainstream media had failed to examine the connections. While noting that some in the media and the academy had tried to downplay the story, Wood affirmed its potential importance, predicting that "Bell could come into sharper focus for the general public in the days ahead, and we don’t know yet how deep or durable his influence on Obama really was." 14 Mar 2012

Wikipedia Freezes Critical Race Theory Entry After Soledad Implosion

The Daily Caller reports that Wikipedia has frozen its entry on Critical Race Theory, reverting to the version of the page that existed before her on-air implosion in debate with Breitbart.com's Joel Pollak. At the time, O'Brien--evidently citing the first line of the Wikipedia entry--claimed that Critical Race Theory had nothing to do with white supremacy.
