Media Obsessed with Watergate, Not Fast and Furious

With a Democrat in the White House and his reelection on the line, this is the absolute worst time for a scandal like this to blow up. The story of Eric Holder and the contempt vote must run after a hot day in June, as it was treated by ABC World News Tonight. 21 Jun 2012

The Job Numbers, in Context

There’s the old joke of a sportscaster giving out scores on the nightly news; 5 to 2, 7 to 0, 3 to 1. Without team names the numbers are useless, and the joke is funny when it comes to sports. The Activist Old Media uses similar methods when it comes to the monthly unemployment numbers. They report the number of jobs that were “created” in a month, then fail to measure it against the number needed just to break even. 9 Jun 2012

Nation Dismayed by Realization WaPo Romney Story Not an Elaborate Prank

Maybe John Quinones of ABC would pop out from behind a wall and say this was just a joke; they wanted to see how the media would react to a bogus non-story from 50 years ago about a Republican candidate. Sadly, it's no joke. The media is actually serious about this "bullying" story. 13 May 2012

NBC Nightly News Ignores OWS Connections in Cleveland Bomb Plot

The Peacock Network totally ignored the background of the accused men. It did not mention one word of who these people were, how their leftism informed their alleged terrorist plot--planning to also blow up banks, the Republican National Convention, and other American sites. 5 May 2012

British Media Provides Better Obama Coverage Than American MSM

We'll see about the media and when/if it actually decides to start vetting this president. I have heard from many of my media friends that the vetting of Obama was already done, so it is not needed now. Of course, he was not vetted during the last election because the media did not want to vet him for fear of what they might find; and besides, all their crews were in Alaska looking under rocks, glaciers, and inside igloos for Sarah Palin dirt. 5 May 2012

ABC Flip-Flops on #ObamaAteADog

Late Tuesday brought the news that really rocked this Presidential Race. The Romney campaign deftly pointed out that Barack Obama had actually eaten dog while he lived in Indonesia as a child. You wanna bring up dog? Let's bring up dog. 21 Apr 2012

Obama Finally Unites America -- Against His Budget

It was one of his biggest campaign promises: Candidate Barack Obama told us early and often that he would unite Americans in the wake of Evil Bush doing everything he could to tear us apart. The media jumped on that mantra and spread it like barnyard fuel. Which makes me wonder why the media didn't celebrate this historic example of their Dear Leader finally uniting America. They could've used lead stories and blasting headlines, but they barely, if at all, mentioned this great story of consensus. 31 Mar 2012

MSM Gives Zimmerman Friend Full 'Joe the Plumber' Treatment

MSNBC Contributor Jonathan Capehart wondered, "this same person (Oliver) doesn't talk to him ( Zimmerman) about his dreams and aspirations...he's not even a close acquaintance, he's just some guy." You mean like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton, "just some guy" who decided to insert himself into this case--is that what you're saying Jonathan? 29 Mar 2012

Journalists Ban C-SPAN From Correspondents Dinner

The annual White House Corespondents Dinner is coming up in April, and the media has banned C-SPAN from broadcasting the event. No reason given, just C-SPAN cannot do what it has done in the past by providing full video of the event. Some journalists have complained about the lack of access. Imagine that. 24 Mar 2012
