San Diego Democrat Party Meets, Will Not Call for 'Filthy Filner' to Resign

After a three hour meeting last night, the San Diego Democrat Party has decided they will not call for Mayor Bob Filner's resignation. Filner has been accused of sexual harassment by former employees and constituents. At today's press conference in San Diego, sordid allegations were made about the harassment claims made by anonymous women against Mayor Filner and another call was made for the Mayor to stepdown.  Donna Frye, fomer city councilwoman, and lawyers Cory Briggs, and Marco Gonzalez called the conference. All were former allies of the Mayor,  this is not a partisan attack.
