No more Obama "dream team" by Joel B. Pollak 7 Feb 2013 post a comment Share This: The nomination of Sally Jewell of REI to lead the Department of the Interior yesterday was probably the least controversial of President Barack Obama's Cabinet picks--and that's saying something. While he loaded up on experts and egos in his first term, most of the most talented Obama veterans have left already--and few of the Democratic Party's true stars seem to be eager to make themselves available. It's possible that the Clinton alums are waiting for 2016, but that is only a partial explanation for the dearth of willing and available talent. Comments
