Congressmen Squeezed by Student Loan Debt

The Center for Responsive Politics recently released the names of sitting U.S. Senators and Congressmen who have outstanding college loans. The analysis reveals that the student loans taken out by members of Congress add up to somewhere between 1.8 million and 4.3 million dollars. The list of names is bipartisan. And most of the loans taken out were for the lawmakers themselves, their children or their spouses education.

This story seems replete with all kinds of irony.
