'Girls' Fail: Viewership Collapses For Season Finale of HBO 'Phenom'
For the past couple weeks my Conversation pals and I have made great sport of the fact that our provincial, narrow-minded media treats HBO's "Girls" like it is some sort of pop culture phenomenon, even though only 866,000 people watch.
Well, it looks as though we were being generous.
The second-season finale of "Girls" was only able to drum up an embarrassing 632,000 viewers, or about 10.27 million fewer viewers than "The Bible" and 250,000 fewer viewers than last Friday night's 11pm rerun of "The O'Reilly Factor."
But remember, 'Girls' is a phenom because the corrupt media says so, not because it is.
That's how the world works today.
