New Star Trek Trailer

Christian Toto tells me he doesn't mind if I post the occasional movie trailer here in the Conversation. This international trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness was released yesterday. We get to see a bit more of Benedict Cumberbatch and a lot more of Alice Eve as Carol Marcus.

Yesterday I saw someone asking "What happened to the trek in Star Trek?" (unfortunately I can't find the article I just recall a headline). I'm sure they're leaving a lot out but so far this movie about space explorers seems pretty earth-centric. In fact, Into Darkness appears to have a lot in common with Skyfall--a rogue agent, a revenge attempt to take out the leadership, beautiful women and a gritty agent who can out-tough-guy the villain. I'm sort of hoping there's more to it than that.
