Jay-Z released a new song “Open Letter.” I must I admit I’ve heard better but it’s hard to write good lyrics when you’re constantly contradicting yourself. Talking about how your money gets you access to the White House and Cuba, when both places main purpose is to suck as much money out of you as possible, is just hypocrisy at its finest.
I pray one day Jay-Z wakes up.
But that day may be sooner rather than later. When the White House press begins to question Jay Carney about the lyrics in your song, especially when you blantantly state your role in Crony Capitalism, you will soon meet the real President Barack Obama.
You know, the President Obama that disavowed his own pastor when he posed a problem for Obama’s political career. The President Obama that silently kicked Van Jones out of the White House when he began posing a problem for Obama’s political future. The President Obama that refused to stand up for Susan Rice, one of his closest and most trusted advisors, when his political capital weighed more than her value to him.
Don’t even get me started on his brother living in poverty in Africa, his aunt living in poverty, illegally, in America, and the rest of his family that gets ZERO attention.
If Jay-Z really thinks he won’t get thrown out like yesterday’s trash, I can’t wait to see what happens when he meets the Obama that no longer needs him for fundraising.
