Lois Lerner: 'I Did Not Do Anything Wrong'

IRS employee Lois Lerner appeared very briefly at the House Oversight Committee hearing, where she firmly stated (under oath) that she “did not do anything wrong.”

She went on to refuse to answer all questions and was dismissed (along with her attorney) from the hearing.  Rep. Gowdy objected to this dismissal, pointing out the Lerner has exercised her right against self-incrimination while she had some level of involvement with denying thousands of American’s of their rights.

Gowdy stated, “You don’t get to tell your side of the story and then not have to face cross examination .” Applause was heard around the room.
