Feds: Woman Buried Own Mother In Yard, Collected 14 Years Of Social Security Checks
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A woman has been sentenced to 30 days for burying her own mother in the yard without reporting it, and then cashing her social security checks over the course of 14 years. 66-year-old Patricia Hodges was also sentenced to six months of home confinement and ordered to repay over $114,000.
She admitted to concealing her mother's death and plead guilty to theft of government money.
Her father was last seen running for his life.
