Marijuana 'Home Delivery' Businesses Growing
(CBS Seattle) - With the legalization of recreational marijuana in Washington, entrepreneurs are finding new ways to score a piece of the market...and one trend that is becoming more and more popular is pot home delivery.
Competing services distinguish themselves in various ways. Nurse Nancy Medical Marijuana Delivery is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. and offers a free sign up but only with proof of medical marijuana authorization and a government ID. Customers must pay in cash upon delivery which is guaranteed within 30 minutes of the order. Nurse Nancy also advertises her product as "grown locally by professional horticulturists using organic nutrients and love."
Another service, Kured Collective, offers daily specials including Munchie Monday and Free Joint Friday. They also offer punch cards where customers can keep tabs on their deliveries. Upon their tenth, they are treated to a free "1/8th of choice."
Anti-trust attorneys already have eyes set on the first company to offer a pizza / weed combo.
