Embargoed: No Questions Asked About CNN Benghazi Bombshell at WH Press Briefing Today

I only caught the last 15 minutes of Jay Carney's White House press briefing today, but apparently he didn't field a single question about CNN's Benghazi bombshell about the CIA intimidating agents from speaking to Congress and subjecting them to repeated polygraph tests. According to Trey Gowdy, the Feds have been changing the names of Benghazi survivors and dispersing them throughout the country.

Even the CNN reporter didn't ask a question about their massive scoop from last week.

The subject was apparently off the table....

Ace reports that CNN reporters are fearful that pushing the story will cost them access: "Perhaps the White House has issued its own Stream of Threatening Chatter."

Some CNN reporters are reportedly fearful now that their access to the White House will be hampered following their probing into a story that members of the Obama administration would prefer remain uninvestigated.

“Access is a very serious consideration when it comes to stories that could adversely impact a show, correspondent, or network’s relationship with the administration, a campaign, or any political leader,” one source with insider information told Mediaite.

Ace further reports that even Fox News' Ed Henry is not interested in this latest scandal?

SPEECHLESS.
