A Shot Across The Bow: SC Republicans Introduce Resolution Condemning RINO Senator Lindsey Graham
South Carolina political blog FitsNews
reports that Greenville County SC Republicans have introduced a resolution
condemning "liberal" U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham for acting in a manner ”fundamentally inconsistent with the principles of the South Carolina Republican Party.
The resolution – introduced to a cheering crowd earlier this week at a GOP executive committee meeting – blasts Graham on a number of fronts, including his votes to confirm liberal, pro-Obamacare Supreme Court justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, his support of amnesty for illegal aliens and his backing of U.S. President Barack Obama’s “cap and trade” energy tax hike.
Other actions condemned in the resolution include Graham's vote with the Democrats to confirm "noted leftist", Richard Cordray, his support for arming Al Qaeda / Muslim Brotherhood Rebels in Syria, his support for NSA spying on American citizens, his support for "a massive new internet sales tax", and his support for gun control.
The resolution was drafted before Senators Graham and McCain took their disastrous trip to Egypt where the two called on the government to release Muslim Brotherhood prisoners - another act that most likely appalled SC's conservative base.
Conservative activist, Chris Lawton who presented the resolution told the blog Full Disclosure, “We are the largest republican county in SC (13% of the entire state) and we fired the first shot in the retirement of Lindsey Graham tonight. We anticipate other County Executive Committees across the state to join this movement to bring our senator home to pasture.
