Ariel Pink Tonight – Bring Me a Cigarette

Last night on Redeye, we had the great Ariel Pink on the show. 

If you’re unfamiliar with his work, I’m going to offer you a taste.

This song, “Round and Round”  is one of my all-time favorites, and it’s from the fantastic album Before Today 

As much as I find the music website Pitchfork to be deadly irritating, in 2010, they named this song  the number 1 song of the year. And they were right. 

I’m gunna go see him tonight in Brooklyn at the Navy Yard. If you’re there, please bring me some cigarettes.
