Cops: Man Arrested After Throwing Five-Year-Old Out of Third-Story Window
INDIANAPOLIS - A 32-year-old man was arrested this weekend after police say he dropped a 5-year-old boy out of a window. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of North Catherwood Ave around 11 p.m. Saturday night, after dispatchers received an incomplete 911 call originating from a residence at that location.
Dispatchers received another call from someone who said a child had been dropped out of third-story window.
Officers arrested Brandon K. Jordan (pictured above) when he answered the door of the third-floor apartment and witnesses told them he was the man involved. The witnesses also told police the boy was thrown out of the window in Jordan's apartment.
He was charged with neglect of a dependent and criminal recklessness.
No information was given as to the boy's condition.
