Pelosi: 'Democrats Want to Replace' This Confusing Medicare Law
Earlier I posted a video clip of Hillary Clinton from 2006 saying it was time to "scrap" the Medicare part D law and start over with something better. Here, from March 2, 2006, is Nancy Pelosi echoing that sentiment.
"Democrats want to replace it. We want to give an extension so that they are not penalized for not understanding something that's incomprehensible to even the Bush administration, so that we can lower the cost of it. The drumbeat across America against this bill is not about whether I want them to sign up or not it's whether they want to sign up or not."
