Terry 'Brick Wall' McAuliffe – The Reverse Todd Akin

In response to McAuliffe, ‘I Will Be a Brick Wall’ for Abortion Advocates:

Todd Akin, I’m sure you remember, was pilloried for having an extreme position only a small minority of the American people agree with.

In an interview with a St. Louis TV station in August 2012,  Akin made clear he was against abortions even in cases of rape and incest, and made a ridiculous argument to justify his position: “it seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare,” Akin said of pregnancies from rape. “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work or something: I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be of the rapist, and not attacking the child.”

That senate seat was supposed to be a shoo-in for any Republican but because of that comment and the media “war on women” firestorm that ensued, Missouri was sentenced to another six years of Claire McCaskill.

Did a media firestorm erupt when McAuliffe declared himself a “brickwall” against pro-life efforts to curtail late term abortions? His pro- late term abortion position is one that only a small minority Americans agree with. In fact, only a small minority of nations in the entire civilized world allow these blood-curdling abominations without restrictions, so you might think his extreme abortion stance would cause at least a raised eyebrow.

But of course you would be wrong about that – The WSO Virginia video has been up on YouTube since October 2 and has all of 19 views.  The reason for the collective yawn is because most MSM reporters agree with his position on abortion – which is why they struggled mightily with how to deal with the Kenneth Gosnell abortion butcher story – opting not to deal with it at all – until shamed into it.

Here’s Women Speak Out Virginia’s web ad highlighting McAuliffe’s opposition to common sense health and safety standards for Virginia abortion facilities — even in the wake of Kermit Gosnell’s Philadelphia “house of horrors.”

No restrictions – no regulations – no safety standards for abortion? That’s not only anti-woman – it’s anti-humanity.
