Mom Accused Of Smuggling Meth in Bible Visiting Daughter in Jail

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas (KBMT) –  A 69-year-old Fannett woman has been indicted and charged with possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility after police say she tried to use a Bible to smuggle drugs into the Jefferson County Jail.

69-year-old Carolyn Hebet Frioux brought a Bible into the jail while visiting her daughter last July. Upon inspection, deputies found meth inside.

She was booked into jail and released after posting $8,000 bail.

A mother’s love.
