Police: Man Used Sword in Attempted Taco Robbery

SAN ANTONIO – A 28-year-old man was formally charged Friday with aggravated robbery after police say he used a sword in an attempt to procure 6 free tacos from a Bexar County Mexican restaurant. According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a waitress at the restaurant identified Adam Kramer as the man who walked in, ordered six delicious tacos and then refused to pay for them. The affidavit also states that the waitress told detectives that Kramer began pulling a sword in and out of a six-inch sheath when he was told he had to pay for the tacos.

Moreover, according to the affidavit, the waitress said at one point during the exchange, the phone rang and Kramer walked outside. She took that opportunity to lock him out of the restaurant where she heard him yelling that if he didn’t get his free tacos, “someone would die.”

But nobody buckled and Kramer left in his truck sans tacos.  Police arrested him the following day.
