12 Hours Too Late

In response to The year's most disappointing movie:

Too bad I didn't read your review before I committed the rental sin and watched Elysium last night.

Who really buys Matt Damon as Hispanic and a plot line that is old and badly redone. Elysium is another dystopia movie with the occasional political reference. The rich are all white and the poor are Hispanic. Jodie Foster as the bad guy/girl is marginally believable except for the Brigitte Nielsen haircut. The fact that it's set in Los Angeles as the terrestrial location might be the closest thing to believable fantasy.

My recommendation for a good movie is Lone Survivor.

Next time let me know when you write a review before I rent the movie. Happy New Year.
